It Felt Great to be Back!

A successful and enjoyable return event

We had a fantastic time at last night’s return pitch and networking event in London, with more than 50 people in attendance to witness a unique and diverse range of investment opportunities.

We would like to thank all of the pitchers and everyone else who came along to the event, and we trust that everyone had a great time.

From our perspective, it was just so good to catch up in person with some of our long-time investors, who have become a real part of the Shadow Foundr family over the years.

In addition to some food and wine, we heard 4 “lightning pitches”, as well as a keynote presentation from the CEO of Cudo Ventures, Matt Hawkins, who shared some of his insights into the crypto world and opened our eyes on potential future opportunities in the sector.

Each of the pitches will be on the platform in the coming days, so you will be able to see the full details behind each opportunity, and you will have the chance to invest into any that capture your interest.

To recap, “lightning pitches” were heard by the founders of the following companies:

Campsited – has previously raised €3.5 million from backers that include Enterprise Ireland and Motley Fool Ventures, an early-stage fund linked to investment advice group, Motley Fool. With outstanding early traction, this SaaS business is disrupting the camping and open-air holiday space as the world’s first full service open-air holiday platform.

NET4 – an IOT solutions provider for 5G, offering technology solutions that enable network operators and enterprise customers to monetise and utilise their 5G networks. Early customers include Network Rail, Tata Steel and the NHS.

Water Filled Glass – a patented construction technology that utilises water in glass to save up to 72% energy (compared to double glazing), act as a solar collector, and improve thermal comfort and sound attenuation in buildings, without affecting clarity or transparency.

Rasei – is developing an “intelligent composite” that aligns with the growing and future needs of the aerospace, automotive, sport and power transmission industries. Not only does the material allow for reduced weight without loss of structural integrity or strength, but further weight is also saved by removing wiring and for some industries providing the first opportunity to gather data without compromise.

Our next event will be early in the new year and we can’t wait to build on the momentum from last night. Thank you all once again for your support, and do look out next week for full details of last night’s pitches, on our platform.
