Synapse has been updating its investors this week with news on their recruitment, marketing and current projects. Here is a quick summary:
Synapse has used a proportion of the investor funding to hire great people including:
- Jamie Dunn, who has joined Synapse from an HCM market leader SaaS provider. Jamie is bringing his wealth of sales experience to Synapse as its Head of Commercial Operations;
- Claudio Machiaverni, an experienced management accountant who has developed a mature career in finance, accounting and M&A with international experience in multinational companies. He will be exploring Cloud CFO sales opportunities in Brazil as well as assisting with UK implementations;
- Kelly Letts, who has joined Synapse as a Project Manager and has worked across multiple industries in the same capacity; her most recent engagement was with the team which built the Auckland NZ innovation precinct;
- Two new members in our telemarketing team: Sami Ansari and Nazmin Choudhary who are already busy speaking to decision makers to book appointments.
In addition, we have welcomed on board our four Chinese investors, namely Elaine Wan (Financial Controller), Tianchi Xiang (Testing & Support Engineer), Yueping Shen (Testing & Support Engineer) and Blaine Shi (Engineer) bringing with them a total of £800,000 investment.
In terms of market strategy, Synapse’s currently focus is on targeting the construction industry; Synapse has had an article published recently in the Builders Merchants News which it hopes will drive interest in Cloud CFO in this sector.
Furthermore, Synapse is exploring new opportunities within housing associations and the charitable space, having recently presented Cloud CFO to several local hospices at their finance conference.
Other activities of note…. Synapse’s engineers and implementation team are currently working hard on getting their largest new customer win for 2018, one of Europe’s leading fresh produce companies, supplying customers across UK, Europe and the USA with fruit and vegetables. At the same time, the team at Synapse is busy finalising the implementation of one of the UK’s largest construction groups.
Synapse is also working with several top prospects and fine tuning their specific requirements and hope to conclude these soon.
