Genesis has started the year with some excellent news. Highlights to date include:

  • Calgary-based Moby is undertaking final ‘soak testing’ during February 2020 with orders just around the corner supporting multi-dwelling unit rollout across 5 buildings in the first 12 months.
  • Windstream field trials start in early March 2020 with rural and urban Genesis solutions being put through their paces in parallel with detailed commercial discussions for the deployment of 50,000 homes.
  • AT&T and Genesis are in detailed commercial discussions regarding the rollout of Genesis’ urban G.fast solutions across their entire US network, with initial deployment estimates being 5 million homes.
  • Following on from their successful Donalda assessments, TELUS and Genesis are in detailed discussions on commercial models to rollout superfast broadband to Donalda and alike areas, estimated to be in the thousands of homes, across their networks in Canada.
  • WireIE and Genesis are in detailed discussions on outsourcing network models to support TELUS and Bell Canada in rural areas such as Donalda.
  • Genesis has secured an urban and multi-dwelling unit trial with UK-based Vodafone, scheduled for April 2020, with a potential of 100,000 plus enterprises across their UK network alone. Vodafone operates in 22 additional countries which are candidates for Genesis solutions once traction in the UK is achieved.
  • Trials of the new Broadcom next generation ‘shasta’ chips will commence in Q2 2020 with further trials earmarked for AT&T, TELUS and CenturyLink. This new chipset will be the foundation of Genesis’s product portfolio and will be the key differentiator for carriers adopting our solutions.
