Heath has been actively raising private equity since 2010. Over this time, he has learned how to sift through piles of opportunities to pick the right one to present to investors. He puts a big part of this down to his persistently challenging entrepreneurs. Heath is a founder of Shadow Foundr and is also the Chief Commercial Officer, playing a major role in deal flow and vetting opportunities to get the best possible deal for Shadow Foundr's premier private investor network.
His remit also includes feeding Family Offices, Private Equity Groups, Venture Capital firms, Wealth and Fund Managers de-risked opportunities that Shadow Foundr have previously funded via their network on rounds leading up to Series A. Once the companies are at the Series A round, the bigger institutions inject large sums for the companies to scale and grow rapidly, which in turn increases the share price for Shadow Foundr's investors.
Heath is a graduate of the Queensland Film & Television Academy, Australia. Heath spent 10 years with Network Ten Australia (Television), designing marketing campaigns for national advertising agencies with clients such as McDonalds, L'Oreal and Coca Cola, and had a subsequent 3 years with Capital Radio Group in London. After moving out of media, Heath successfully established a Business 2 Business arm with a UK property investment group, which turned over in excess of £300 million. In January 2010, Heath played an integral part in setting up the commercialisation side of the Ideas Factory by aligning with JV partners, implementing key operational processes and systems, and building on the ever-growing private investor network not just in the UK but globally.
