Targeting an under-served sector of the online video industry, which has been forecast to grow to $50 Billion by 2020, Airbeem’s SaaS business model delivers multiple revenue streams and offers a simple, yet necessary solution to content owners.

Their solution has attracted an exclusive distribution and technology partnership with Comcast, the world’s largest TV broadcasting and cable company (think NBC in America), and resulted in deals with Samsung and EE.

The company is already revenue-generating, after securing contracted fixed license fees in excess of £1.5M and management believes they are perfectly positioned against their competitors, to disrupt and capture a significant share of its rapidly expanding target market.

Video content delivery has become complex and expensive. Airbeem however, solves that problem by offering content owners a turnkey solution to deliver video direct to users, across multiple devices, in a way that’s simple, fast, adaptable and profitable.

From films to television, live sports to music, the way people are consuming video content is going through a seismic shift that is both exciting and a challenge for content owners.

Five years ago, creating an online video channel was simple – you just built a website. Then along came video-capable smart phones. At that point content providers also needed to build mobile web, plus mobile apps for iOS & Android.

Quickly thereafter tablets appeared, which meant providers needed to have tablet apps as well. Next, came gaming consoles such as Xbox and Playstation, and more recently, Smart TVs have moved towards the app model. This trend is clearly going to continue.

In addition, audiences are fragmenting. The days of millions of people watching the same shows at the same time are long gone. This means that, as well as catering for multiple devices, providers have to offer a wide range of programming, and target it at the right customers.

Having assembled a high-quality team from a range of blue chip companies with vast experience in online video delivery, traditional TV, media advertising, content production & technology start-ups (including several successful exits), Airbeem’s Board of Directors are extremely optimistic about the direction of the company and the growth potential that lies ahead.


Airbeem has raised £1.3m from Angel Investors to date, and is now seeking further funds in this EIS round to accelerate growth and position the company for a potential acquisition.
